Role-play on booking a flight:

Hiro (a customer) "Hello, I would like to book a round trip ticket from Tokyo to Los Angeles."

Travel agent "Certainly sir, for how many?"

Hiro "For two adults, my wife and I."

Travel agent "And what is your departure date?"

Hiro "We would like to leave on April 23rd."

Travel agent "On the 23rd, we have one afternoon flight, and a red-eye flight."

Hiro "The afternoon flight would be good."

Travel agent "On the afternoon flight, we have a direct flight or another that has a layover in San-Francisco."

Hiro "A direct flight would be great."

Travel agent "Very good. And what is the return date?"

Hiro "We would like to fly back to Tokyo on April 30th."

Travel agent "Departing in the afternoon as well?"

Hiro "Yes please."

Travel agent "So we have 2 seats on Japan Airlines departing Tokyo at 3:25 p.m. on Monday April 23rd with a return flight from Los Angeles on Monday April 30th at 1:25 p.m."

Hiro "Great."

Travel agent "Will this be in first class or economy class?"

Hiro "Economy would be good."

Travel agent "Would you like a window seat or an aisle seat?"

Hiro
  "An aisle seat please."

Travel agent "Ok, so the airfare for two direct round-trip tickets in economy class is 300,000 Yen."

Hiro "OK."

Travel agent "How would you like to pay?"

Hiro "With my Visa card please."

Travel agent "Very good. Also, we recommend that you arrive at the airport two hours before departure for the security check. Boarding is one hour before your flight departure time. I hope you and your wife have a safe and pleasant trip."

Hiro "Thank you!"

Travel agent "Thank you sir for your business and I hope you have a great day."

Hiro "Thanks again and have a great day also!"
